Welcome to Cardinal and the Dog
Have you ever walked into a store and thought, “Where have you been all my life?” I’m talking about a place that makes you want to take your time going through the shelves or tables. A place with a staff that will chat you up and make you feel like you are instant friends. That is what I want to create with Cardinal and the Dog.
Filling a Void
Many years ago in the area where I live, we had two such shops. One was for all things baby-related, and the other was a card and stationery store. After I spent years as a loyal and frequent shopper, both shops closed because the owners moved away from Tampa. I have not been able to find anything like them since, so now that I find myself in an empty nest, I decided to open up my own boutique.
Something for Everyone, No Matter Who the Recipient is
Cardinal and the Dog is a unique gift boutique. Here you will find something for everyone, no matter who the recipient is. Don’t we all have that “impossible to shop for” person in our lives? I will help you find just the right item for them. I have always loved selecting and buying gifts for the people in my life, even my dog. Everyone is unique and they deserve to have thought and love put into a gift selection. I hope my online shop will be the place to help you find that perfect thing.
I Have Been Working Hard Curating Unique Items
The housing market across the country is hot right now, and I have discovered that the retail space market is no different. Until I find the perfect location for my gift shop, I will do my best to convey the feelings I described above through my website. I have been working hard over the last few months curating unique items for the store. My dining room and the kids’ old playroom have become the center of operations. It has been so fun partnering up with brands and getting to know all these incredible and creative people.
